MASSAGE & ACUPUNCTURE PROGRAM FOR WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER: Massage
and Acupuncture therapies have been shown to offer a number of benefits
for breast cancer patients. The immediate benefits of both therapies
include reduced stress and anxiety, help in controlling lymphedema and
increased energy. It also improved immune function, including increased
NK cell number in breast cancer patients.
This program is open to all breast cancer survivors or women currently in treatment whose medical insurance does not cover these services. They must live in our catchment area of: Ulster, Dutchess, Columbia Greene, Orange or Sullivan Counties. They are allowed 1 treatment per month of either massage or acupuncture.The practitioners will bill us and we will send payment.
